General Terms & Provisions.
Please read carefully the following information, since the
Terms & Conditions here described constitute an agreement
between you and those who provide the service. The moment you
make a payment on a tour, you thereby agree to accept all
terms and conditions on this contract.
Liabilities.
Customer is advised that the tours, accommodations,
transportation and/or services here described, as well as in
the corresponding vouchers and invoices, are supplied by
providers that operate independently of Baja Ground Services,
Inc. Therefore, Baja Ground Services, Inc., its owners,
directors, officers, servants and agents are not responsible
and assume no responsibility for any claim, loss, damage or
injury to person or property, cost or expense whether direct
or indirect arising out of injury, accident or death, delay or
loss of baggage or other property, or delay, inconvenience,
loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or
frustration, whether physical, mental or otherwise related to
the provisions of tour operations, travel services or
accommodations.
Baja Ground Services, Inc. acts as an agent in making
arrangements with airlines, tour companies, hotels,
transportation and other independent parties to provide you
with travel services and accommodations. We take great care
choosing these suppliers but we are unable to directly control
them, therefore, we are not responsible for the acts or
omissions of those providers. By your payment you accept that
Baja Ground Services, Inc. shall be liable for no more than a
refund of any sums a customer paid to Baja Ground Services,
Inc. less the corresponding process fee and that Baja Ground
Services, Inc. shall have no other liability whatsoever.
Documentation.
For those US Citizens who do not have a passport, proof of
birth or citizenship and picture ID is required. However, we
highly recommend traveling with a passport, so please obtain
yours well in advance of your departure to avoid
inconveniences.
Tourist Visa and vaccination are not required for US and
Canadian citizens. Other nationalities please check with
Mexican embassy or consulate.
Gratuities.
Are not included in any tour. Remember, gratuities are a show
of appreciation.
Children Rates.
Sorry, no discounts. Due to the environment, we cannot accept
children under 12 years old.
Changes of Itinerary.
Change of confirmed reservations in the same category are
subject to availability in the same booked category. Names can
be changed only when made with 7 or more days before arrival.
Pets.
Only guide dogs are allowed. All other pets are prohibited.
Luggage and Insurance.
Please travel light and comfortable. Most of the areas to
visit are rural with not many facilities. Relax and enjoy the
trip. Lots of film will be your best asset. We suggest you to
buy baggage-accident-cancellation insurance to protect your
vacation.
Smoking and Drinking.
Smoking is not permitted on board vehicles. Even when in
Mexico is not forbidden to smoke, we appeal to your conscience
to abide by this request.
Drinking beer or spirits on board vehicles is totally
forbidden. We reserve the right to expel those who do not
abide by this rule. In the event of any passenger whose
behavior may result inconvenient for one, several or all
persons in the tour, we reserve the right to terminate his or
her tour without prejudice and with no reimbursement
whatsoever.
Accommodations and Meals.
We use three or four stars hotels whenever possible. We do not
anticipate any changes from the mentioned hotels, nevertheless
and in the event of changes for whatever reason out of our
control, some changes may occur without liability for Baja
Ground Services, Inc. Double rooms in most cases have 2 beds.
Triple room does not mean three beds but three persons sharing
the same room. No discount price for triple room. All rooms
have private bath and facilities. Special requests like
non-smoking, king size bed, garden view, etc are subject to
availability at the time of check in. There is no advance
guaranty for any special request, though every effort to
accommodate them will be made at the time of check in.
Local food is rich and tasty and it is easy to overindulge.
Please be careful. We recommend that you drink bottled drinks
or purified water since your system is not used to the local
environment and you want to finish your vacation in healthy
and mint condition. It is a very good idea to bring some
stomach pills to prevent possible discomforts.
Vehicles.
All our vehicles are clean, air-conditioned units of recent
model. We reserve the right to use sedans, suburbans, vans or
coaches as necessary.
Tour Guides.
We are particularly careful choosing guides with extensive
knowledge of the sites to visit. We mostly use bilingual
English-Spanish tour guides but if so required, other
languages speaking guides could be available with advanced
reservation.
Reservations.
In order to confirm a reservation an initial deposit of
US$100.00 per person is required at the time of booking.
Payment.
Final payment must be received 20 days prior to arrival date.
No exceptions. Processing fee may apply. Rates subject to
change at any time.
Late Bookings.
Late bookings are welcome up to 5 days before arrival, but
subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy.
US$50.00 will be charged for reservations cancelled 6 or more
working days before arrival. No refunds for reservations
cancelled 5 or less working days before arrival. No refunds
for unused portions.
In case of cancellation, please immediately notify Baja Ground
Services, Inc. either by phone, e-mail or fax. Requests for
refunds will only be reviewed when received in writing and
accompanied by original voucher within 30 days of cancellation
